i have the update of this map done by Leprechaun. On the farm with the large grain set up, i have cows in the beef pasture right behind the commodity shed. My question is, i have a cow walking in the field behind the machinery barn? How is that possible?
the calf is from the grain bin farm. it is in the pasture to left when you pull in. it has walked through the pasture between fields to the field 100. I do not know how he is moving around. one calf. there are 19 calves and yet he is the only one.
Just curious if anybody else has issues with the silos not unloading. Filled a silo and went to pull haylage out and only got a puff and nothing came out. Any help would be great, thanks

Hello, loving the map, but I am at my animal pen limit... wondering if there is any way to delete/sell the mega-farm buildings to free up some animal pen slots? When I click the delete button, they will not highlight.

You have to unzip the buildings folder and put all the .zip files individually into the mods folder as well as the map. Put the FS22_WestbyWI_4X into the mods folder as well. Everything should work normally with buildings and all.

When you download the buildings file you have to right click and hit the "unzip: if you have 7zip then right click and go "7zip" and click "Extract Here" and all of the individual buildings zips will show up on your desktop. Its better if you make a new folder and extract the zipped files there so that you have them all in one place. Then simply highlight all of the individual building .zips and put them into your mods folder, As well as the map and you should be good to go.
Does anyone know how to remove the Hammer Mill from contract sell points? It is the only one showing up for all harvesting contracts and it is not a sell point. I'm assuming it's in Westby/placeablesa/silo,HMC_FeedStore.xml but that's a guess on my part. And don't know which line to change either. Maybe under line 159 <sellingStation? Any help would be really appreciated

I saw that as well. I do not see a milk trigger on any of those custom stall barns. I would suggest to either add them in yourself or delete the buildings from the map using giants Editor and place down other functional cow sheds that work.

Question, on the beef pastures, is there a trigger for straw bale input? I cannot for the life of me find one. I believe the "Animals" section of the menu calls for straw in these pastures.
as an FYI you do not need to give the cows Straw or TMR in the pastures. They will live just fine given a few hay and silage bales which in a pasture of 50 keeps 1 bale silage and 1 hay will keep them going for a few days I think like 5 or so. Pastures only need those 2 things. You can also feed them TMR to get the grain up if you like using the creep feeders and overloader wagon. The cows in the pasture do NOT give any milk or manure.
I have been trying all sorts of equipment to put straw in the Beef Pastures. Is there a trigger in the 8 or so Beef Pastures for straw? Second, in Pasture 8 ONLY, I could not get TMR into the feeder and could only use bales in the ring. Third, in pasture 8, I added grain to the bale ring, to try to make TMR. Is this the correct way to handle pastures? Fourth, I could not use the machine sheds or the straw triggers at the multi-dairy area. I was using the "No Farm Houses" version. I just loaded the version with farm houses from this website and everything works perfectly. This is a fantastic map, overall. I opened the fields to fit my liking a bit more. I'm 11 years in and own the entire map now. This is what things look like now. I've tried 7-10 maps and this one is simply the cat's pajamas. Well done all.

I am trying to whole crop barley and sorghum and instead of chaff I get grass? what is wrong?

You can change that in the xml for the barn you want to edit.

How do I decrease the amount of straw and food needed in the barns? 600k is to much straw for me.
You need to change it in the xml file
Oh i know how to do it like that, i ment where do i find the XMl files because i cant find them in the same place I usually find them on other maps.

It is not the map, when you added the buildings, you need to find the barn you are trying to edit.

because its zipped you need to unzip everything before putting it in your mods folder.
Why can I not get milk out of the 4 dairy barns at the large dairy but the other two there will work just fine?

Go to SquatchMonky facebook page, and download new shader. Follow instructions to replace the shader to get the map working again.
Any method of doing this without a facebook account? I'm not about to make one just for that.

You have a mod conflict, check your game log and see which one it is. 9 times out of 10 it's a script mod.
hey I have a problem with the map. When ever i load in there are no barns on the map. Sorry Im new to pc gaming.

I am playing westby 22 with maize plus. Do the creep feeders work for the beef cows? Can't seem to figure it out.
