Question, on the beef pastures, is there a trigger for straw bale input? I cannot for the life of me find one. I believe the "Animals" section of the menu calls for straw in these pastures.
as an FYI you do not need to give the cows Straw or TMR in the pastures. They will live just fine given a few hay and silage bales which in a pasture of 50 keeps 1 bale silage and 1 hay will keep them going for a few days I think like 5 or so. Pastures only need those 2 things. You can also feed them TMR to get the grain up if you like using the creep feeders and overloader wagon. The cows in the pasture do NOT give any milk or manure.
I have been trying all sorts of equipment to put straw in the Beef Pastures. Is there a trigger in the 8 or so Beef Pastures for straw? Second, in Pasture 8 ONLY, I could not get TMR into the feeder and could only use bales in the ring. Third, in pasture 8, I added grain to the bale ring, to try to make TMR. Is this the correct way to handle pastures? Fourth, I could not use the machine sheds or the straw triggers at the multi-dairy area. I was using the "No Farm Houses" version. I just loaded the version with farm houses from this website and everything works perfectly. This is a fantastic map, overall. I opened the fields to fit my liking a bit more. I'm 11 years in and own the entire map now. This is what things look like now. I've tried 7-10 maps and this one is simply the cat's pajamas. Well done all.
Does anyone else have texture issues on this map? Many vehicle textures are not as sharp as they are on other maps as well as some road and sign textures on the map.
Have no beef pastures showing up on brought land, only some beef pastures have hay rings and none of them have creep feeders. What could i be doing wrong for this to happen. Was absolutely loving the map, just got harvest done and was ready to purchase some angus, but cant put them in a pasture. Any help is much appreciated
Drive your loaded cattle truck through the gate to the pasture and the trigger will pop to unload them. After that, the pasture will show up under the animals tab.
I've had a bit of a problem, the sell points don't work, I can't unload my trailer into them, I can still unload them in my silo but not at sell points, how do I fix that?
Love the Sasquatch around parts of the map, it's a nice touch same with the memes in the windows. Found this at one of the houses. What is this character from?
So... I am really excited to play the map, but sadly after downloading the map and buildings, none of the buildings will load in. i moved the files into my mods folder for the game and the map is there, just not any of the buildings. the buildings download is in the file tho. i have a simmilar issue with the hana indiana map also
Hands down this is the best Map in FS 22 thus far. The only map that truly feels like it's real life. Everything down from the pastures to the small abandoned buildings and the many farms. The bushes and terrain. Sub surface drainage outlets. I will probably play this map till the end of Farming Simulator 22. Even with the few small issues I have not found many. I edited out the farm houses to make room for my own. I love the design and layout of the map and it being 4X gives plenty of room for both large and small farms. It looks straight out of Wisconsin. Im From Ontario Canada but the layout and look of it looks similar to here and a mirror copy from Real Life Westby. I have yet to find the Sasquatch but the fact that this map has double crop beans and allows you so many more options that even present release modded maps don't have is something else. I love it and hope you guys can update it further with any issues you may find. (The last patch fixed 99% of them) As long as it won't require a new save. It's a perfect map. Thanks for bringing it to FS 22.
If it's also going to be a 4X map I would suggest working on it in detail and release it for FS 24 (or whatever the next farm game ends up being). Similar like what you did with this map as then you can have all the time you need to truly create a fantastic experience and a masterpiece of a map such as this one. After all for this map most of it was already premade on FS 19 standards. Im sure making another map as good as this one will take lots of time. Keep up the great work though 👍👍
I have been playing and recording videos on this map for a while. Hands down my favorite map. The fact that you are still working on it is even better. IRL stuff will always come first. I get that and respect it. I am working on my own map and just keep using this as a reference for what I hope it feels and looks like. Thanks so much for all the work you have put into this.
still playing this, and most likely will do for the whole FS22-period... two savegames with two totally different self-built farms... this map is far from perfect (which map isn't?) but so far it's the only north american map which hit my FS-nerve on spot... it has unique features and the terrain is rich in variety and not nearly as soporific as the one on so many other maps... definitely gives me the right feel (and I'm not from Wisconsin, not even from the same continent)... a note in passing: I really don't care what hip youtubers are doing, some of them don't even have a basic idea about farming ... so to the guys who created this: THANKS A LOT, you supplied and still are supplying me with many relaxing hours!!!
sorry for the delay MB Farms but it's summer and I have my hands full with other things (and leisure-time mostly is outdoor-time, that's why the farms are in their early stage; they are more or less on hold until end of real-life-August ;-)
first of all I mostly play small scale old style... when WESTBY came out also Bernie's farmpack got out so I HAD to build a farm with it: it's 1991, I liked the spot on the ridge and used GE to make neighbor's pasture my own
custom (1st farm: 'White Farm Pack', 2nd: several collected mods which matched the 60s time scale) the prebuild farms on the map are actually quite good and have unique features (like opening of the hayloft) but the silos and animal sheds were just to big for my current style
looks like they abandoned this project no updates nothing I also see no content creators are playing this map anymore the hype is over for this map to many issues
Sadly I think you're right. This map had potential to be one of the best for the entire duration of FS22, but it looks like it's going to just be forgotten
I have been playing on this map for quite some time now and I see no big issues really. I am slowly getting the big dairy up and running. There are still loads of people playing Westby just because you don't see a YouTube video about it dose not mean it's not there. This is also a PC only map as it is 4X and has custom models and scripts. It is a very good map i think people just need to stop complaining and realize that mod making takes a lot of time and effort as well as people have IRL responsibilities. Most IRL farmers have 2 or more jobs to make a small family farm profitable.
I haven't been active in the FS community for several months nor had any motivation to play FS/work on any projects. I've also worked 2 jobs this spring and likely won't have much time until winter to start anything new or update anything. I simply don't have the time to work on anything for the next couple months
I'm loving the map! I've put a couple hundred hours into it. I'm populating the barns at the large dairy farm from west to east. I found that the milk trigger works to fill my tanker on the western most barn but the two to the east do not work. I'm not sure about the others. Thank you for making a quality map!
Unplayable because you can not delete the farmhouses. I like the fact that you don't have a sleep trigger on the map so I can add my own, but then you don't give me choice to add my own unless I add it to your farmhouse. Yes I know I can change it in GE but I don't want to have to edit a map with another program. Looks like it could be a good map but I will never know.
Just go into GE and delete the farmhouses yourself, I edited my version and moved some things around and It's amazing. It's really not that hard, It takes 5 minutes to do. I can even send my edited Westby version to you if u really cant do it.
Does anyone know why the map isn't showing up? I've put the mod and the buildings, and building are unzipped, and separate. the map is just as is and it's registering in modhub but not in the map selector?
No, but on mod network there is a version without the farmhouses that works for me. So if you don't have any issues placing down a farmhouse for yourself that's the only thing I could figure out.

ll ya un beug et le sol est trensparent a quelque place
great map but the pastures don't seem to be working for me there is no creep feeder bale trigger or water point please help what did I do wrong?
none of the triggers for the freestalls on land 14 are working any reason or ?
is there a reason why it gets stuck at 60% on the loading screen and wont finish loading
You have a mod conflict, check your game log and see which one it is. 9 times out of 10 it's a script mod.
hey I have a problem with the map. When ever i load in there are no barns on the map. Sorry Im new to pc gaming.
you need the unzip file and to extract all the files into your mods folder
Whenever I reload the save gave I dont have any options in the shop menu. Is there a fix for this?
Love the map! Are there any updates being worked on currently?
No updates are being worked on
Ok, thanks for the reply! :)

No straw
Alright thanks for the reply bud.

Also, the haylofts are genius!
I am playing westby 22 with maize plus. Do the creep feeders work for the beef cows? Can't seem to figure it out.

I have unzipped and put the buildings in my mod folder and they still won't load on the map.
So during the winter my snow distance is really low, is there any way to fix this

Matts savegame
Is that a show or game?

did you unzip the Buildings folder?
we have just recently set up this map for multiplayer on dedicated server and enjoy the map but have been having a few issues with it.
Contracts not being able to be completed
we do everything required of the contract and it will not complete
some of the silos and such not able to access even after purchasing the land
best map in fs

Thank you! I hope to start another project here this winter that will be from a different part of Wisconsin

Currently live in Ozaukee County Wisconsin, any hints as to next location...
why cant i get the gehl125 to show up in my in-game mods folder. i unzipped the buildings pack but nothing happened.

Thanks for the message! I'm super glad you enjoy the map. I'd like to see the farms you built if you can post them here or message my page

2nd farm pretends to be around 1966 (ok, you've to fiddle for that); thought as a more 'meditative' approach without helpers
thanks again for this! I l-o-v-e the area/terrain!
did you custom build this farm or does it come like this on the map?
custom (1st farm: 'White Farm Pack', 2nd: several collected mods which matched the 60s time scale)
the prebuild farms on the map are actually quite good and have unique features (like opening of the hayloft) but the silos and animal sheds were just to big for my current style

I've got this in my log.txt file. 2022-06-03 20:18 Error: addRequiredCropType foliage 263138 must match the size of the ground terrain detail.
I have problems with the contracts not updating and I'll have the same ones for years and fields will just sit and the ai won't do anything
Am I the only one who is experiencing Invisible terrain on this map. Only map mods loaded aswell. Thanks
